What to Expect Before Treatment
- Preparation: Avoid retinoid creams and exfoliants for at least 48 hours prior.
- Procedure: A clinician cleanses the skin and applies 1-3 layers of the Ferulac Classic, followed by coats of Ferulac Plus, which allows active ingredients to penetrate the skin.
- Immediate Sensation: You will feel a tingling or mild burning sensation, and the skin may temporarily develop a slight “frosted” white cast.
What to Expect After Treatment
- Post-Care: The peel is sealed with a retinol and left on the skin for 6 to 8 hours before washing it off at home.
